Whitewater State Park-Water is low and clear. Small flies, tippet and stealth are required to hook up-Very few people out.
Forestville State Park-South Branch of The Root River and Tributaries- All streams are low and clear. Warming up this week should see some early mayfly hatches like Blue Winged Olives. Mostly taking small nymphs like Bead Head Pheasant tail zebra midges sizes 18-20. Artificials only right now until regular season opens April 18 for harvest.
South Fork Root River-Low and clear, Catch and release, artificials only.
