On your bike…
Pick up an espresso and a light breakfast at Lucky Mud. If you don’t have your own bike, take advantage of Preston’s Bike Share Program at the Preston Public Library – you can rent a bike and helmet for FREE! Or purchase an e-bike from Total Powersports located on Hwy 52.
Hop onto the Root River State Trail heading toward Fountain and be sure to stop for a cold beverage at The Dog Paddle. Or connect to the Harmony-Preston Valley State Trail for more scenic miles towards Harmony. Both state trails are smooth and paved – perfect for all skill levels. Enjoy gorgeous river views, limestone bluffs, and the peaceful countryside.
Cruise around Preston at a relaxed pace; stop to see the Army Tank, the Caboose, take a selfie, check out the downtown shopping, and enjoy the river views.
Finally, relax and enjoy dinner and a drink at the Branding Iron. And if you’re still feeling energetic, bowl a few games at B&B Olympic Bowl.
